| SHEESH IT HASN'T BEEN AWHILE WHERE I'VE TYPED IN ALL-CAPS. WELL, TODAY IS A GOOD DAY FOR IT. I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I PASSED MY GENETICS MID-TERM. LET ME TELL YOU, IT WAS NOT EASY. I BARELY MADE THE CURVE! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS???? THAT MEANS THAT SLEEPING THROUGH CLASS IS OK, AND THAT SKIPPING A FEW MAKES IT OK TOO. now if only i would study....maybe i could a "B," or an "A," but let's be realistic. ok so the curve is 56-72 is a C. and i got a 56! man, i'm so dumb, but i'm so proud of myself. more accurately, i am so thankful that God has shown me grace over and over again, even though i don't deserve it. even in something stupid such as school. i mean, school's not stupid, but i've made dumb mistakes in the past. like sleep through a whole quarter and still passing. hooray for marine bio! and this isn't the first time that i barely made the curve, and so exact for that matter. talk about cutting it close. hm, maybe i should study more.
i have my Gamelan performance on monday @ 7pm. if you want, you can come cheer me on. but it is a long drive, but at least you get to see redwoods!
and i have to do this group essay.....talk about a weird ASSignment. how does an essay flow if a whole group is doing it?
and i have this report on why there are two types of killer whales....talk about a fun assignment. YIKES 7 MORE DAYS BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

| i don't know why, but today i just feel super giddy. ok, i think i know why i'm so giddy and in such a good mood, despite the fact that i have 2 papers, a presentation, a conservation action and a performance in the next week and a half. it's because during class, my professor kept saying "ultraviolet." isn't that just hilarioso? every time someone says that word it just cracks me up. i know that no one gets me, but that's ok...i know johnny, weley and justine would've appreciated me laughing during class.
Ultraviolet was a ridiculous movie, haha Milla Jovovich. i didn't know she was such a comedian.

| secretly at night when no one's watching, i'll go into my room, close the curtains, turn off the lights. and i pretend to be in a band. any band that's fine. any band on my ipod that i enjoy listening to. just pretend to play with them, letting go of all my worries for the month. going crazy, hair in a frenzy....muscles aching because of spasms....my life as a rockstar. -->my favorite band is Sunny Day Real Estate. my favorite artist is Jeremy Enigk. Coheed and Cambria and Thursday are really good too, but not my favorite-favorite.
i miss the drums.
